Honest review from a big girl
So this is the best knee brace I have ever bought. I struggle to find a brace that fits properly as my thighs are significantly larger than my calves. Despite the fit being loose in one spot the brace has held stability on my knee better than I've ever experienced. I have several damaged tendons. Currently my quadricept tendons connected to the kneecap is torn, I have a past meniscus tear that is damaged again, and my mcl and all have been torn. So its reinjured easily and happens about once a year im back in a brace. The support I recieve in this brace allows me to use the full extension of my knee while walking relieving me of my limp which helps my calf and back feel better. And it allows me to use the quadricep muscle without worrying about my tendons hurting. Overall it is worth a buy. Side note, the metal reinforcement bars ARE REMOVABLE! so as you heal and no longer need the extra support you can use the same brace. The design of the straps allow excellent placement and keeps the brace from slipping which is a major issue with my previous mentioned anatomy. 10/10 would reccomend

Decent but glaring shortcoming
The upper strap is positioned and angled too low such that it rubbed into the back of my knee. Solution: put a piece of cloth (in my case a lens cleaning cloth) over the strap when routing it behind my leg and then securing it. Unfortunately, this requires me to sit and use a mirror to see what's going on as I do it. Proper fix/design: Raise and/or angle the top strap higher to prevent this issue. Otherwise brace has been good. I can't compare it to others, but it has been comfortable for hours at a time. It is bulky and will impeded knee flexion, but at this price the basic design is perfectly good. That it is bulky neoprene (I'm assuming the material) keeps my knee warm and is therapeutic in itself.
